| 566710 | 2007-07-07 03:05:00 | Hello all ^^ Just recently I found that in my temp folder (after removing "hide protected operating system files") there were 3 files, svchost.exe, svchost.sys and svchost.dll. I've never seem these files in the temp folder before, i always thought they were in the Windows folder. The computer is running XP Pro SP2 used the May edition's AutoPatcher to brought it up to date. So I was wondering is it normal to have the Svchost.exe running from the Temp folder? The other computers in my house dont have this, though the other computers are all running XP Pro SP1. Btw, the Temp folder that i'm talking about is the one at: X:\Documents and Settings\123\Local Settings\Temp Many thanks. |
