Games tend to want lots of "main" memory which the CPU can use, and video memory (which is just part of the main memory which is reserved by the BIOS configuration) . You should be able to add another 256MB stick of memory fairly cheaply . That's likely to give more speed improvement than just releasing 64MB . I suspect that your computer seems slower because you have been using faster computers at school . ;) |
