| 566921 | 2007-07-08 01:58:00 | I downloaded it through limewire, its an avi. Can someone point me to the way to do this please, preferably free. I have downloaded a few free programs this morning, but nothing seems to be able to handle it. Do I need to convert it to something first .. :help: |

Ive taken down a few converters, one was too complicated and another would convert and burn but leave a watermark in the middle of the screen. |

| 566924 | 2007-07-08 02:27:00 | Is the DVD burner in the computer? And I don't know if I can legally tell you what DVD shrinking program to use . . it MAY be illegal in NZ . . . . but it's not in the US for the time being . Either way, it is likely illegal to tell you what you should do about a LimeWire dnld . . it is suspect to say the least . |

If it has been downloaded from Limewire then it will be illegal since no legal movies are free to download as there are always royalties and licensing costs involved. |

| 566927 | 2007-07-08 05:34:00 | Nero well convert AVI to DVD. Be prepared to wait a while, while it dose it. If the movie is 2hrs long it well take at least that to convert and burn to DVD. It has to convert every single frame of the movie from AVI format to DVD format. Trevor :) |

| 566928 | 2007-07-08 07:47:00 | AVI2DVD is a good one, TMPGenc Express is top shelf but not free either. Be prepared to burn a few coasters as you learn the process, or use DVD-RW discs so you can erase and start again. The process is not hard, you just have to get the settings right. | supertrouper (6665) | ||

I had a burned dvd. Put it on .. it was a few segments over and over .. and no sound  I dont like being beaten. What extension movies should I download to write straight to disc? I have nero .. loaded that onto the lappy today .. but theres a corruption of some sort on it :( |
