| 566919 | 2007-07-08 01:31:00 | Hi there I manage Cyclingotago website and Ive run into a problem entering race result info sent to me in an excel worksheet. When I Cut & Paste the results into the Results page, Im effectivly creating a table, into that webpage, which increases page loading times. Im going to be sent more & more results throughout the season, which will result in lengthier download times. Heres the page Im talking about cyclingotago.co.nz What Id like to do, is display the results in a CSV column type display, but cant workout how to do this while maintaining the neat row, column alingment that a table presents. Ideas please on how to do this. ________________________________________________ As well, on the same page, when I edit/pasted this line 7 July 2007 - Results for Waldronville to Taieri Mouth from the result provider (I Copy/Paste it into Notepad first to remove formatting, then pasted it into Frontpage) it wont display the line in full width, turning it into Two rows. I cant workout why Im getting two rows out of one line as displayed in my Notepad screen. Thanks in anticipation... John W |
