Its not so much a new model it just has smaller chips and a quieter dvd drive and a better gpu inside and is faster. bink.nu I'm not sure whether you are correct here. It was my understanding that it will be the same speed and the same GPU but manufactured with the new 65-nanometer production process. This will just make it cooler and quieter. |

Doesn't affect the sales. And 33%? Yeah right, I somehow doubt 3,752,864 (roughly the amount of PS3's sold haha) have been returned. Plus who cares, they extended their warranty to 3 years so it's all good. |

Nintendo has always been targeted at slightly younger kids, or group "fun" with invited friends over etc. Xbox 360 on the other hand, enough games for the casual gamer, and more than enough for most serious gamers. Obviously the 360 appeals to more people, just look at the sales difference. |

| 567204 | 2007-07-18 05:21:00 | Are you serious? yes, re-read it: CURRENTLY OUTSELLING 3:1 so, as of publishing of the source my magazine quoted, for every 1 xbox sold in a store there was 3 ps3 sold and 21 wii of course the xbox has a higher total number of units - they've been selling almost a year (and cost half that of the ps3) a fair comparison would be the number of consoles sold in the 3 months after release, allowing for market saturation of xbox and wii to reduce the sales of ps3 (stupid sony - but atleast the ps3 works) and the fact the ps3 is a large hit to most gamer's wallet (stupid blu-ray) while the wii is dirt cheap note i'm not a ps3 fan and i don't intend to buy one, but i do get sick of xbox fanboys rambling on like it's an apple product;) PC FTW |
