Nerovision would most probably be better (thats if the file u have isnt corrupted) . As it'll load whatever video file (if it knows what it is), and burn it to DVD in DVD format . Only thing with Nerovision is, it needs a DVD plugin, ( I think) , for you to get the DVD option . You could most probably burn files u get as is to a DVD . But nothing else but your PC will be able to play it . But even if u use Nero/Nerovision you may need a dual layer burner not a single layer . Depending on how long this thing is . Whatever it is . |

2007-07-09 05:37:00 | Is to ditch your DVD player and go and find one that plays DIVX/AVI on the player . They dont cost much more than a standard DVD Player . That way you dont have to wait for conversion . You lose quality when you convert from one format to another . You just simply burn it onto a CD and put it in the DVD Player and it plays . Sometimes the simple solution is the best . :waughh:

2007-07-09 10:11:00 | would sharing movies over a LAN be illegal? | springa886 (10558) | |
2007-07-09 10:57:00 | Sharing/streaming files over a LAN is not illegal, downloading them from illegal file sharing sites and storing them on your hard drive is especially when your not paying for the movie in the first place. | winmacguy (3367) | |
2007-07-09 22:05:00 | legalities aside a good place to find out how to do this sort of thing is www.doom9.org, they have guides, reviews, download links etc. Can take a bit of research and trial and error but it can be done. One of the worst problems is the oddball audio settings some people use, making it difficult to convert without losing audio synch, or getting no soundtrack at all
