| 567150 | 2007-07-09 02:14:00 | I am guessing that the Wii would appeal to a larger market segment because it is different, affordable and the games are based on a simple concept that is very appealing, this is also helping the Wii to sell in very large numbers. The Xbox is more affordable than the PSIII which is struggling with maintaining sales and although I haven't played either although the Xbox would appear to have a better selection of games than the PSIII at a better price. The main selling point of the PSIII would seem to be its incredible graphics and stylish hardware although this doesn't appear to be enough to get the punters to part with their cash. So I would have to say that Sony's gamble is not paying off. So out of the XBox or the PSIII, I would say the XBox. (Which is also up for a 1 Billion dollar repair bill from Microsoft.) |

| 567152 | 2007-07-09 02:27:00 | backtracking a little here, but taking into account the fact that you get arguably one of the best blu-ray players out there with the purchase of a PS3, i would say that would be the winner for me. The Wii is great, but loses its novelty after a while and i can't see it having the staying power of the PS2. |

I guess that would make the XBox a definite winner in that area. It is just a pity about the reported 33% hardware fault rate. It will be interesting to see if Nintendo can continue on with the success of the Wii. I guess it will depend on how long it takes people to get bored with playing Wii golf... |
