| 1410712 | 2015-11-01 00:32:00 | ... I thought almost every pure Kiwi would've been dying to express our delight at this morning's fantastic result! Pfft to those amongst those who weren't interested or entertained. Our guys who earned their places in the black jerseys deserve their places in history for the tremendous endeavour to win the coveted Webb Ellis Cup against some fierce opposition. We won against all of our major opposition forces eg France, South Africa and ultimately Australia - each win being a mammoth undertaking. And the teams we didn't actually play eg England, Wales and Ireland were simply debris in the road to our success. The Boys in Black went through a heck of a lot, and deserve every accolade and reward for representing us. And of course, we've now seen some of the emerging Blacks coming to the highlight to replace the seniors who're leaving the team. I'm amongst one of millions of New Zealanders who are seriously happy with the game, and the tournament. Long may the All Blacks reign supreme! :D :thumbs: :clap ps - my prediction for the result was us by 15 points.... if I was a gambling man I could've made some nice pocket money! |
