1410479 2015-10-26 19:02:00 I know there's a lot of legitimate older free versions of software out there, but searching always seems to come up with seriously dodgy looking software.

So does anyone know of an ethical site where I can find un-copyrighted programmes? My specific need is for an older non-trial version of Xara 3D maker. Current version is 7, and I think the one I had about 15 years ago was version 3, which would suit me perfectly.

Oldversion.com doesnt list it either

But anyway, old does not mean free. It may not be copyright free , so there may not be any legit download links.
Just the fact that a search gives keygens indicates it may not be free.

Xara did do some givaways of old versions a while back (giveaways page now expired) , you may be able to find a version that was a giveaway. Not 100% legit but
certainly less dodgy .

Given Xara Group was founded in 1981, and copyright lasts 70 years in the USA, you're sweet outta luck. If it's free, it's not going to be legit.

www.xara.com
Given it's only USD$40, if you're using it, just buy it.

1410487 2015-10-27 02:12:00 Even Xara V5 that was free for a while , had to be registered & had unlock code emailed.
www.xara.com

Linux version(clone) is free , based on V5 . :banana
alternativeto.net

alternativeto.net has freeware alternatives to most programs . Have a look there for something similar .

Ah ok, very cool :)

Is that for a website or a print job?
