| 1416265 | 2016-02-20 09:16:00 | Did you install the Edimax drivers from the site? (www.edimax.com) Or from the CD if it came with one? Or did windows install them? And yup what version of windows is it? |

| 1416266 | 2016-02-20 09:28:00 | Its W10 Speedy according to the screen shots. not sure if its a upgrade or Fresh install. In case you missed it, and its an upgrade - try the fixes in my previous posts. #9 If it errors on the troubleshooter - what is the exact error message. You can also reset the settings: Open Command Prompt (Admin). Type the commands one line at a time and hit enter: IPCONFIG /FLUSHDNS NBTSTAT –R NBTSTAT –RR NETSH INT IP RESET NETSH WINSOCK RESET Restart your computer. |

| 1416267 | 2016-02-20 09:30:00 | If this is an upgrade from Windows 8 /8.1 there is a known problem. FIRST run the network trouble shooter: Right-click the network icon ( Wireless symbol ) in the notification area of the taskbar, and then click Troubleshoot problems. If that doesn't work: Have a read of fix-no-wi-fi-available-after-windows-10-upgrade-issue-heres-how/ (www.redmondpie.com) Its also relating to if you had a VPN installed. What can also happen is older software may not be working correctly, thus causing closure / breakage at certain times. So theres no bo-bo's copy/paste the commands into the Command prompt window. If the first command errors, just do the second and reboot. I doubt it would be an issue with upgrading. I updated to Windows 10 last year when it was released, just started having the issues this month. It started happening after I installed Bitdefender. I could not do anything after I restarted from installing, everyone locked up or was on a horrible delay. I had to do "improper" shut down about 4 or 5 times before it would even load without staying froze, then I uninstalled and then this issue started right after. I will have a look at that info though. |

| 1416270 | 2016-02-20 09:44:00 | That may explain it then Bitdefender. If you uninstalled it use their removal tool to remove the rest of it (www.bitdefender.com) It's just as bad as Mcafee lol Or if it wont uninstall use their removal tool. It may have corrupted something, and files may still be on the system |

| 1416271 | 2016-02-20 09:46:00 | Windows installed them on its on, the disc wouldn't even run. Once you use the removal tool try the driver install off the site. They may work properly. Windows 10 drivers DON'T always work. |

They may work properly. Windows 10 drivers DON'T always work. I went to their site to download the driver, but it won't let you download the drivers for Windows 10 for the model, it says on their site drivers on disc... LOL :waughh: |

(AVG is even worse) :p If ALL the info is given at the start it sure makes it a LOT easier other wise its guess work. :) DLBeLLMO Run the following commands in Command prompt (admin) one at a time. See if it fixes windows. Since advising Bitdefender problems as speedy posted its more than likely damaged some files. sfc /scannow Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth Note: The Last command above, when it runs it will get to about 20% and appear to stop, this is normal, let it carry on running, it will eventually finish. DONT STOP IT. When was Bitdefender Installed - Precise number of days back if possible. ? |

I tried restoring to before that, but it it stayed on the restoring page for hours until I gave up. |
