And how many people dump a ton? A mattress isn't that heavy.... The North Shore transfer station charges $25/100kg of rubbish for a car or trailer load, minimum $25. $10 if its a 50L bag you can carry in without a vehicle. |

Locally (Nth Shore) , rather than a 10minute drive to the Tip, locals just pile up the bigger rubbish at the top of the drive(next to the footpath) & expect someone to magically come along & remove it for them. Its simply because they dont care . |
