1411342 2015-11-13 02:50:00 Because, I just noticed something

Just tried to watch the cricket on the fanpass site. And this message comes up saying something like click on this to cast a video to the TV?? WTF

And unless you click on this message in the middle of the screen, the screen remains dark (not dark enough so you cant see whatever, but dark enough to be annoying).

Then I saw a message / little window bottom right (on this live broadcast), saying chromecast is available.

Prob is, I dont have one, and unless I do I can't use FF to watch it

I know FF is the prob. Because, I tried Edge, and no sign of this annoying message in the middle of the screen

1411343 2015-11-13 10:49:00 I thought only Chrome can Chromecast not Firefox, I am using Firefox 43b3 and have not seen anything like you are describing. zqwerty (97)
1411344 2015-11-13 19:10:00 I'm using FF 42 and can't see anything in the settings for casting gary67 (56)
1411345 2015-11-13 20:39:00 Yup it's strange that FF had the option (but as you said Gary it's not in its settings) but Edge didn't. That was fine.

I did accidentally install Chrome when I installed ccleaner (just did a clean install). But I uninstalled it, then deleted its folders

Before I did the clean install that message never came up ... On the fanpass site. Hmmm

The bluray player I've got does support mirroring (probably the same thing as casting), but it was off at the time.

And it's connected with HDMI to the TV

1411346 2015-11-14 08:16:00 Must have been the version of FF I was using. It was some 64 bit version. Which must be buggy as hell.

Because I uninstalled it and reinstalled the 32 bit version. Tried the fanpass site again and no sign of the above.

And the other version kept crashing flash. When I was using the cam. It doesnt crash with the 32 bit version
