| 1484046 | 2022-02-01 00:27:00 | Finally, Countdown in Hastings are doing them. And today my doctor told me Chemist Warehouse is opening here soon, and then...as he says, and I now, they will ALL be free. He said it's stupid how they charge $5. Yep, adds up when you have loads of stuff, and they don't count repeats towards that BS 20 items either, as husband discovered. |

Also language problems, although this is happening in our local chemists as well to be fair as more staff are of Chinese origin misunderstandings are common. We went back to our standard chemist after too many annoying letdowns by them. |

No chemist ever let any of us know repeats are due. The exception is my mums new one - Zoom, they send them without us asking. I've never been IN a Chemist Warehouse, I have ordered online from them, and it's been great. Cheap, fast, no issues. I order certain non-prescription things for my mum regularly. Chemist Warehouse price $15 each, local chemist $47 each. Couldn't afford them if it wasn't for CW. Anyway the point is....once they arrive in town, all the chemists become free prescription.....I used to send husbands prescriptions away to Auckland (free shipping too) because here it cost $100!!! I was in local chemist yesterday and they were telling people it was over an hour wait their...3 guys on script counter too. Lucky I was looking for a toiletries bag...$30 BTW, I went and bought one for $3 from the local $2 shop...Very nice one too, no worse than what chemist had. |

Other than greediness, can't see why they still want to charge the $5 prescription fees? |

| 1484051 | 2022-02-01 23:24:00 | Christchurch, most of the staff are Chinese who speak impeccable English but with strange intonation and unexpected pauses, also masks don't help. Also they speak very fast because they always seem short-staffed and rushed. I am getting older and hearing my decreasing so a large echoey building with lots of noise and very little sound-proofing doesn't help either with good and precise communication. Any way I won't be going back to Chemists Warehouse ever because of their rudeness and brusqueness coupled with their impatient attitudes as well as all the above problems. |
