1483453 2022-01-07 04:46:00 I have no feelings.
My thoughts are:
The thing (when new) is ripoff so $30 in comparison is good value.
Ok it's a couple of years old but some people won't care.

I personally would recommend Libre instead but I have had customers who insisted on buying Office, and didn't flinch at the price.
If he can sell it, well good for him.

Regardless if it's downloadable.

The new one says the same:
Once you have purchased Office, you can install it from the Services & subscriptions section of your Microsoft Account page.

Go to Office Support for more steps to download, install, activate or update Office.

1483454 2022-01-07 06:46:00 I was more concerned about weather it was legit or not.
You can download the software for nothing, it's only the key being sold.

I had been using 2007 version, have a family 3 user pack.
Had to reinstall yesterday but it wont activate any more.
Other two are still going.
Guess they finally pulled the plug.
I installed Libre Office but it's not as compatible with the SDR & Sat tracking programs I use.
It's the XL spreadsheets I'm mainly using.

1483455 2022-01-07 17:39:00 I don't like Libre it has some interestingly weird motions. I use Softmaker office, looks like MS office and works much better than Libre. It is also Linux compatible, so I do run it on Linux and Windows. gary67 (56)
1483456 2022-01-07 17:39:00 I think that it is too expensive and too slow. I say too slow because I run Outlook and Word is available with Outlook and have tried it but I'd much rather use Text Maker - costs nothing, is much quicker and creates Word documents compatible with documents created by Word. Why pay for something that you can access for free?

I have been using Text Maker for a few years now and will not go back to Word.

1483457 2022-01-07 19:28:00 Microsoft Office Home and Student 2019 on Kinguin is $49

It's cheap for $22 and offer a warranty (if to be believed ), worth the gamble

Its a SCAM and illegal. Theres only one way to get it that cheap legally, and thats if you are able to get through a place like Techsoup https://www.techsoup.net.nz/

Doing a search for the trader - The very 1st result should tell you stay away. YOU have been warned.

Question from a person who brought from same trader and Trademe - even says its a scam purchased-a-license-key-on-trademe-nz-auction/ (answers.microsoft.com)

1483459 2022-01-07 20:36:00 Thanks, that's the info I was after. Driftwood (5551)
1483460 2022-01-07 23:05:00 My feelings are ... Why waste $30?

Most people can use LibreOffice or similar alternatives. All work well unless you need some fancy macro or spreadsheet stuff that only works in genuine Excel.

If you want a paid office suite, there's copies of Corel office or such that go for even less than $30.

Unless it *has* to be MS office, I don't know why anyone would want it. So many cheap and free alternatives out there.

1483461 2022-01-08 04:43:00 Looks like I'll have to get used to LibreOffice.
Pity I cant get Office to activate.
I even uninstalled it off my laptop, so it's only running on one other system now.
I still tells me I have it installed on more than allowable number of systems.
