1483382 2022-01-07 00:04:00 Delayed until court appearance on Monday. Funny he had a visa to get in but the Ozzy PM buckled under pressure from the Vax community to throw him out. I hope that if he does get thrown out he will give Ozzy the one flinger salute and say never coming back. Wonder if the other players will have the balls to go home as well in protest. paulw (1826)

Let them pack up their toys and go home and sulk.

Cant have one set of rules for the "Self Privileged" Few, then rules for everyone else.

1483384 2022-01-07 01:06:00 Volatile and arrogant, a good example of just how disgusting human beings can get if they are ill-brought up.
.
Fixed that for you.

can get if they are rich and/or famous.

1483388 2022-01-07 02:54:00 Hard to believe that someone whose drive to succeed is so developed and has been so successful is based on a mish-mash of nonsense and woolly headed thinking, maybe this explains the volatile and erratic behaviour, no depth. zqwerty (97)
1483389 2022-01-07 04:41:00 Hard to believe that someone who . . . . . . has been so successful is based on a mish-mash of nonsense and woolly headed thinking,

No . It isn't . It's a human thing .
We don't all believe in fairies but we are, as a species, prone to not thinking .
We - and this is general - accept what we are told as kids, mostly it never budges .
As kids we're taught all sorts of **** . Santa for instance .

Harmless you say? Well it reinforces a mindset .
So if someone who seems knowledgeable, successful says something, we tend to believe them .
Or if they have charisma and spout blatant crap for that matter .

We ALL are subject to cognitive bias .

Think about your own beliefs and convictions . Now argue with yourself, tell yourself that perhaps you are wrong, things have been shown that those beliefs are incorrect in some way . You instantly hate that, and try to defend your ideas .

Hell, scientists do it . Look at stomach ulcers and what they had to do to get that accepted .
Or germ theory . Or Galileos radical ideas . . . .

We think we're "modern" and smart now, but all humans thought that, all through history .

There's still horoscopes in the papers, being new year psychic predictions and all sorts .
