| 1481615 | 2021-11-02 22:50:00 | OK, how about a reed switch? A magnet on the tilting plate and the switch mounted on the box. I found these two on Jaycar: 11182 11183 The glass one looks a bit fragile for the environment, but the other one might work. My question is: how close does the magnet need to approach for it to actuate? There are other ones on the website, but they all seem to be normally closed, where what I need is normally open. Comments? |
