| 1481406 | 2021-10-20 02:22:00 | Is there an easy way to reduce the file size in Android phone? Some sites suggested to 'share' via email and reduce the size before sending, but I couldn't find any option to do it. I am using GMail. |

When emailing photos ,My Android doesnt give an option to reduce the photo/file size either . I do get an option to create a shareable link : ie it uploads the photo to the cloud & emails a link to where that photo can be viewed/downloaded from . Thats how I now email photos from my phone |

Select the photo Select the Edit (Pencil near the bottom.) Select the 3 dots (top right) Select Resize Select the size you want to send, there are 4 options plus the original (select the option that best suits you) Select Done Select the 3 dots again Select Save as Copy, (if you also want to keep the original) it puts a new date and time for the saved photo Now you can attach more than one photo to your Gmail I tried this and it works on my A52 |
