| 568738 | 2007-07-13 10:41:00 | Hey there, I have recently gotten a laptop and ever since I installed the wireless internet my dowloads on utorrent have slowed down sooooooooooo bad. My problem apparently is.. Welcome to the µTorrent Port Checker. A test will be performed on your computer to check if the specified port is opened. Checking port 32926 on 203.(my ip adress)....... Error! Port 32926 does not appear to be open. Please see www.portforward.com for more information about how to map a port. Please make absolutely sure that PeerGuardian2 or Protowall is allowing utorrent.com (72.20.34.145) in either of those programs. Those of you using ipfilter.dat should make sure the list does not include the website's IP. After making sure of this, re-run this test by refreshing the page (F5). I have tried different things but how do I do this? How can I get my downloads working fast like they once were? Any help would be so gladly appreciated. Thanks |

| 568739 | 2007-07-13 11:19:00 | It would help if we knew what modem/router you had? Have you done a Google? All you need to do is open up the port on your router its pretty straight forward. | Pete O'Neil (6584) | ||
| 568740 | 2007-07-15 06:24:00 | Is your modem "Plug 'n Play" ? Check in uTorrent, under the "Logger" tab, it should say something like:- [13:37:12] UPnP: Discovered new device: 192.168.1.254:80 [13:37:12] UPnP: Mapped port 26458 -> 192.168.1.64:26458 |
