568475 2007-07-12 18:14:00 My windows folder contains hundreds of folders:eg
$NtUninstallKB873339$. What are they? They look like MS updates or patches to me.
Can I uninstall/delete them?

568476 2007-07-12 20:03:00 They are backups of your system files that were replaced by newer ones when you did a windows update. Why do you want to delete/uninstall them? Myth (110)

Hi, they are the replacement files for uninstalled pateches, so unless you are going to uninstall MS windows updates, you dont need them so yes you can delete them if space is un issue. Though really, unless you are a technician, you shouldnt be poking your nose in the windows directory.

Thanks for the info.
