Let's see how long can PressF1 persuade me to get an 8800GTS instead of a X2900XT. As you know I don't get resource from one place, so? There's tug of war you know. I joined the X2900XT club and asked them about their X2900XT and they all say it's all cool man. Best driver to use? 7.5 for XP and 7.6 for Vista. Nvidia? We all know you are looking for us so we use hidden servers :D And pointing out a spelling mistake of pctek's is rich coming from you who can't even string a grammatically correct scentance! I don't care what you get, you seem so caught up by that stupid ATI demo that you can't think straight! :lol: so you will get the ATI card :rolleyes: Incase you hadn't noticed I don't care about models... I care about GAMES :rolleyes: |

Oh well, EOR we'll see about X2900XT, it is not that I havn't read, just wish that the NZers will sell their 8800GTS 640MB for X2900XT so that I can get it for a bargain price . In the real world we need DX10 games to benchmark and test it, those cards ain't even for DX9 games just like Tomshardware . com says . Read more reviews if you think I didn't read, 8800 owners sold their cards for ATI ones(links above like in neweggs . com), what does that mean? Oh, and I havn't seen any X2900XT said they sold their X2900XT for 8800 . |

I did some serious research among members of another forum and nearly everyone favours the 8800 over the ATI One interesting point. Nobody favours the 8800 GTX over the GTS. Very little improvement for twice the cost. 3D mark 03 ,over 15000. Surprisingly there is no heat problem either. I have yet to see my card at over the high 50's Just as a point of interest I have an extreme x 6800 cpu. It runs in the 40's. Just with stock standard cooling |

| 568869 | 2007-07-15 04:20:00 | There is little known about it at this stage, but if nVidia continues the release plan (high end cards around xmas) we should hopefully see them then, they are rumored to be 1 teraflop which beats the 8800 series with only 330 gigaflops, the source (www.theinquirer.net) not sure how crediable it is though... but I am happy with my 8800GTS stepping stone :D should keep me happy till the 9 series :D | The_End_Of_Reality (334) | ||
