| 567861 | 2007-07-11 09:39:00 | I would use ccleaner, go to tools/uninstall, highlight all of the java entries, click on delete entry. Then run my computer, go to program files, delete the Java folders ONLY. Then go to tools / folder options / view tab, show hidden files and folders in the menu (In my computer). Then go back to C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Sun folder/s. Delete this/these folders (previous versions of Java MAY have different names for their folders). Then go back to ccleaner (close browser/s). Click on cleaner / run cleaner. Then click on issues / scan for issues. Once whatever comes up, click on fix selected issues and delete them. Then reinstall/install the latest version of Java. |
