567860 2007-07-11 09:27:00 I have run RegSeeker and it lists all the updates 4,6,9,10,11.

If I remove those items with RegSeeker will that achieve the outcome I want ie. removal of those updates from my computer??

567861 2007-07-11 09:39:00 I would use ccleaner, go to tools/uninstall, highlight all of the java entries, click on delete entry.

Then run my computer, go to program files, delete the Java folders ONLY.

Then go to tools / folder options / view tab, show hidden files and folders in the menu (In my computer).

Then go back to C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Sun folder/s.

Delete this/these folders (previous versions of Java MAY have different names for their folders).

Then go back to ccleaner (close browser/s). Click on cleaner / run cleaner.

Then click on issues / scan for issues. Once whatever comes up, click on fix selected issues and delete them.

Then reinstall/install the latest version of Java.
