2007-07-12 06:27:00 It doesnt neccesarly speed it over 50kb. But it boosts it a little with making it just a little faster than normal. It also helps with downloads adn uploads. IT DOES NOT CONTAIN SPYWARE OR ANY VIRUSES. I even use it myself with dial up. Just check the website out. www.dumeter.com and it might change your mind. manvsmachine (11826)
2007-07-12 07:23:00 DU meter is only a download / upload meter to show how much is d/l or u/l during the time you are online. It does not make the modem/broadband any faster. intel hunter (6666)
2007-07-12 07:38:00 It actually does a little coz im using it now and it seems to boost it quite well thats if you dwonload TweakMaster made from the same company. It tweaks your modem a bit some how to make it a little faster with different optimisation strategies manvsmachine (11826)
2007-07-14 05:11:00 I used to get 49.2 on my old machine (Pentium II 450) with a USB modem, but since upgrading to Pentium Duo 2.0 I normally get 52.0. The old machine would sometimes connect as low as 7.0!! I use inet alias Snap. Brucem (8688)
2007-07-14 12:51:00 You just don't know how lucky you are. At the moment the phone system is a radio link and I am connecting at 4800. A few of the oldies would remember speeds like that. mikebartnz (21)
