and when downloading it says like 10 mins but it takes more than double the time

Not much u can do about it, besides going to broadband.

It depends on how big the files are, on how long it'll take.

50 is lucky, its more like 30 - 40 is the normal.

My :2cents:I was going to say the same thing. When we used to have dial-up we never used to connect faster than about 42.

I use to hook up with KOL as my ISP, but they were so over-subscribed that between 6 and 10pm it was virtually useless. The price of cheap dial-up I suppose.

I got broadband via Xnet and never looked back. I've even linked my father-in-law into my connection via wifi (hes over a kilometer away)
