569207 2007-07-15 05:02:00 When I click minimise icon on the title bar, the window or file doesn’t minimise to a button on the Windows task bar. It disappears. Siobhan (6842)
569208 2007-07-15 05:03:00 Is this for *all* applications or just some? Chilling_Silence (9)
569209 2007-07-15 10:02:00 I am assuming you are using WinXP?

Have a look here (www.kellys-korner-xp.com). Click on the "T" and then on the "Minimized Programs Missing". You will be prompted to download a .vbs file to your desktop. Once you have done that, double click on it to run. It will correct the registry key entry that is preventing the minimised windows to show on the taskbar. Let us know how you get on. :)

I just wonder why I can never find the answer to such problems in my multitude of expensive XP Help books:(
