| 570107 | 2007-07-19 00:50:00 | Hi i am on Xtra broadband without a static IP, so i decided to sign up to a dynamic dns site (http://www.no-ip.com) i created a "dyanmic doamin" and such and use the DDNS client to keep my changing address attached to the dns name. i know ant to create a website using IIS or smething.......is this even pheasible? as i have done all the port forwarding on my router. i do know IIS to some degree. | aidanmaz (7180) | ||

Unofficial is that you can run a server on there home ADSL connection but if Xtra finds out about it you could loss your account. |

| 570112 | 2007-07-19 05:25:00 | I have Windows Home Server and use DDNS via the router for remote access. Luckly I have max/max connection. Any web site you have would be very slow on the 129Kb upload though...... | SolMiester (139) | ||
