If so, would it need a re-install? I don't see myself doing it for a long time but just curious.

E6600, AsusP5B, 2Gb, Sata 320, Sata 320, dual Boot VistaHB/XP Pro

Since the P5B if this is what you're going to use supports Quad core.

Most probably have to reinstall if u do get a quad core.
