571401 2007-07-22 07:59:00 it dosent seem to perform that great on those charts above tho for a quad? GHOSTN (12510)
571402 2007-07-22 15:15:00 Yup, went with my friend to get him a new assembled computer. For a quad-core (can't remember exactly which one), he was quoted $759 on Saturday's prices to get things rolling but when they gave him a final quote for this week when the chips arrive, he was given it for $499 or possibly as low as $449!!! beeswax34 (63)
571403 2007-07-22 15:58:00 Wow only $423 for a Q6600.

I paid nearly $800 each for two of these less than two weeks ago :p. I wish I could have waited (I was told of the price cut), but it wasn't an option.

This is an amazing price drop - far greater than I expected. I was told it was dropping by $200.
