| 570912 | 2007-07-24 09:05:00 | Hi there! After i tried to install a copy of WinXP on D disk it became boot disk. Found it on Disk management dialog box. But I set Cdisk on Bios setup as first boot disk, however the D disk became the boot one. When I loaded printer and scenner, system offered to put them on D disk. It is all confusing but works ok with disk C as sys disk, and D as boot. |

| 570913 | 2007-07-26 05:08:00 | I know this is a very old thread, but I needed to point out the key difference between AVG Free and AVG Professional. AVG Free is for non-commercial use on a single PC at one "site" (e.g. household) If you have more than 1 PC in your home, you are supposed to upgrade to the AVG Professional edition. If you use your PC for any form of commercial purposes, it is supposed to also have AVG Free upgraded. And another big misconception is the license cost. Sure, it is about $80 for a single license of AVG... but it is a 2 year license. So this makes is substantially cheaper than most of the competition. AVG leaves pretty much all it's competitors in the dust with regards to detection and low system resources. NOD32 is the only one that has both similar detection and a slightly smaller footprint, but it is also more expensive. |
