but don't ask me which ones they would be. Apple's Intel Mac Pro supports 16GB of RAM (as long as your wallet can afford it) and I would imagine that Windows XP 64bit and Vista 64 bit would be able to support 16 GB of RAM with a suitable mother board, although if it was me I would be going for a Mac or Linux set up if I was doing the sort of heavy lifting that required 16GB of RAM like engineering or movie rendering.

pctek that would be good if my mboard could take it. Unfortunately my board has 4 slots and in theory I can run 4Gb but ASUS messed up and 4Gb runs the same as 3GB, this was fixed in the next release of my particular board.

I do a lot of graphics and Video work so next PC will have 8Gb minimum capability providing I buy correctly.
