| 570515 | 2007-07-20 06:09:00 | Hey just wondering what the best free program available for download that simply locks particular folders (to the extent you cant even preview whats in it without unlocking) with a password. Just a simple, small and spyware/adware free program recommendation would be nice, there's a tonn out there. |

BladeBox is ultra cool, use the Iron Edition it is free. AxCrypt is free as well. Very good for small files - keeping things away from prying eyes, I use it with right click/encrypt/password, just don't forget the password you use or that is it you will never see the secrets again haha. Same with BladeBox, very good security just more to set up, a secret store on your HDD. |

Try installing whatever and reading the HELP file before u decide whether its too hard or not If I say no, will you be mad? But seriously, I looked, but there were so many, and most of them sounded complicated. EDIT: Just got around to installing LockBox (the first one suggested) works great, actually hides the folder itself too. Thanks. |
