572038 2007-07-24 08:18:00 Try typing this into outlook

---------------------------------------

then press enter, it should give you a border line across the full email, My question is how the heck do you get rid of it,

Yes i know when you first do it the auto correct thingie springs up and give you the option, But if you ignore that and keep typing how do you remove the line

I have tried

Highlighting the lines round it and pressing delete
Swearing at it
trying to right click on it but that gave me no obvious options
Trying to drag it off the page

There must be a way to do this but i can't figure it out

572039 2007-07-24 08:28:00 Delete works for me (Outlook 07)

However, failing that, select the line and in the formatting text toolbar there should be a border selector - change it to "none". It looks like the same border selector you use for tables in Word, or Excel.

The ---------'s will stay

I just tried it here.

572041 2007-07-24 08:33:00 That it does that indicates you are using Word as your email editor.

Selecting the line above and below (including the border) at the left hand side and hitting DEL works every time.
