| 571834 | 2007-07-23 11:57:00 | My scanner won't install. It is a Benq/Acer Vuego 3300U. It worked fine on my old XP-SP1 machine, but not on my XP - SP2 machine. Windows recognises there is new hardware connected but can't find the driver even when I point it to the CD. I tried installing the software on the CD, and downlading the latest driver software off the BenQ website to no avail - it just says it cannot find the scanner, then Windows pops up yet another balloon to tell me that new hardware has indeed been detected. Frustrating and hoping someone can help. thanks |

| 571835 | 2007-07-23 12:31:00 | Have you tried pointing it right in to the actual .info file in the CD ? I know sometimes when I've ponted it to a cd to find a driver, it still says it cant find it, but pointing to the actual .info file makes it find its way again!! ... just a thought :) |
