I've got a Hewlett Packard Comp running Windows XP. I'd like to run XP on my older computer as well but the HP comp just comes with the XP already installed. Would the back up disc you do when you 1st use the HP Comp have the Win XP on it so I can put it on the old comp or do I have to get an XPdisc from somewhere ( if so where?) |

You buy it, the one (thats got it on a partition most probably) if u back it up to dvd or something is most probably an OEM version which is locked to that computer.
And even if u manage to install it, if its still on this other HP. You have to activate it. |

Thanks Speedy, I thought that would probably be the case. Thanks also for looking at the hijack log for me yesterday. |

It appears to be but I still feel its not as good as it could be. Trying out the Trojan remover at the moment. |
