| 571952 | 2007-07-24 00:29:00 | I have a user here who is clicking on an email link within his web browser (Internet Explorer 7) and instead of it linking to his MS Outlook it instead pauses, then brings up heaps of windows, then says it can't find a default email program. I've checked his settings under Tools/Internet Options/Programs and email program is definitely set to Microsoft Office Outlook. Is there any other settings that need looking at? Or any other reason this might happen?? I've checked the site(s) he's been clicking on email links and they all work fine on my computer (same system/IE version). |

| 571953 | 2007-07-24 02:33:00 | This is the usual fix for wonky email links. Not sure if it will work in this case but it should do no harm to try. Go to Start | Run and type in: REGSVR32 URLMON.DLL Press OK. Then go to: Internet Explorer | Tools | Internet Options | Programs | Reset Web Settings. More information here. (support.microsoft.com) |
