| 571633 | 2007-07-23 01:16:00 | Hi Team. I am wanting to install an OEM version of XP home on an existing computer currently running Windows ME. Are there any issues I need to consider. Is it easier or better to install over ME, or should I uninstall this and install XP -any assistance/help/useful tips would be appreciated:) | arko (9074) | ||
| 571634 | 2007-07-23 01:18:00 | Speaking from experience, it would be better to do a clean install, upgrades (especially from ME) can tend to be a bit messy, but if you have no easy way of backing up data, or just don't want to start from scratch an upgrade will be OK. have you checked that the PCs hardware will run XP OK? | wratterus (105) | ||
