| 571578 | 2007-07-22 22:15:00 | I have 191911 files (about 3 gig) of files on drive W: that is hanging ALL my IO to the recycle bin. I cannot remove this crap from the r-bin and am getting very slow IO on delete opeartions (often but not always). Is there a utility available to just remove the blardy bin and create an empty new one? I have tried ccleaner and it hangs on delete too. Manual delete via Total commander looks possible but it is taking about 2 seconds per file thus 191911 * 2 = A blardy long time to delete the junk. Anyone got any short cuts? Thanks :badpc: |

A 2KB text file wouldn't take that long . On my computer, I can delete about 40GB's worth in about a minute so I don't know why it takes so long on your . You could try restoring a lot of them and deleting them in batches . |
