572811 2007-07-26 00:59:00 VGA will be a problem with a LCD

In what way?

The other PC here uses a VGA connection on an LCD. Nothing wrong with it.

If VGA was a problem, LCD's wouldnt have a VGA connection on them.

And depending on what kind of videocard is on the system, it may not have DVI only VGA.

Unless you buy a mobo with DVI on it, or buy it separate.

Most of the LCD's I looked at when I upgraded only had the DVI, I thought that was the standard now .

572814 2007-07-26 01:04:00 It seems that any 4:3 monitor over 20" is VERY expensive compared to their widescreen counterparts. Also seems very scarce as well.
To get a monitor like that means you will probably have to spend big $$

572815 2007-07-26 01:07:00 Widescreen is great. My Philips 22" Wide has VGA and DVI connection. Bantu (52)
