572737 2007-07-26 06:19:00 The Nvidia drivers used to have the macrovision copy protection in them, after they were installed.

Dont know if this is still the case tho. I'm not using a Nvidia card.

And with the ATI drivers, I used to use CCC and enable / clone the TV in CCC.

That was it. Recently, I just installed the drivers and ATI Tray tools, which does the same thing. Since the drivers and ATI Tray tools is smaller (15-16 mb), than getting the full install (35mb).

Altho, I dont use WMP either. I use DVD X Player, or just burn whatever to DVD and use the stereo's DVD player instead.

572738 2007-07-26 07:23:00 What you need to do is set the TV display as the Primary Monitor in the Display settings.
I have done this many times to get videos to display on a second monitor/TV.

572739 2007-07-26 11:32:00 Hi Guys
IMPORTANT UPDATE
My Video Card is RADEON IGP 340M by ATI Technologies. I have tried installing the CCC from ATI website - cant install it, says it cant find the driver. Then I tried installing the other one the smaller size one, it does install but thn it crashes the whole computer, comes up with blue error screen and restarts. It did that 5 times. I had to login to my other profile on Windows and uninstall it through there! So no luck with that.:yuck:
Any suggestions?:angry
Thanks

Most software only allows one screen to play the video (some sort of protectionism)

to Change video to the other screen

Right click your desk top and select properties

In the Display Properties window select:
Settings Tab - Advanced - "your video card" tab
Under Display Settings select the other screen as primary display.

I believe the video overlays can be adjusted so it displays on both but I've yet to figure out how to do that.
