573061 2007-07-26 21:53:00 God had me worried there for a minute, The title implied no more Seagate HDDs.

Just no more IDE, not surprising really, its all going sata.

573062 2007-07-26 21:55:00 Good on them - I'm getting sick of IDE. The cables are to big and ugly. wratterus (105)
573063 2007-07-26 22:03:00 I dunno, I like them. They're easy to fold neatly and tuck out of the way.

You try folding or tucking a sata cable.

573066 2007-07-27 00:15:00 Maybe they should improve the connectors for SATA. They come off quite easily. bk T (215)

Yes but you pull it out of the way and it pulls straight off the connector. Thats what I mean, and they don't curve well.

573068 2007-07-27 05:08:00 You can get cables with little clips that stay a little more secure Rob99 (151)
573069 2007-07-27 05:13:00 Yeah, I think Gigabyte mobos come with those...? not sure.

I don't like buying sata cables on their own.. you shouldn't need to. The cables with clips work well, but I have to say I've never really had a problem with normal cables coming off, but I can see how it could be a problem. ;)
