574005 2007-07-30 05:51:00 Because I'm sick and tired ofr my "favourites" column disappearing all the time.
And I can never make it lock in place.
It must be corrupt, mine works well, try repairing.

574010 2007-07-30 23:25:00 If IE 7 saves password now ( it didnt before I formatted), I might actually use it .

Since IE7Pro will block ads and flash ads etc .

The more FF gets updated, the more ram it seems to use!

Just having this forum up (one page / tab), its using 60,960! And climbing .

574011 2007-07-30 23:26:00 Yeah - the RAM thing is annoying. I hope it doesn't turn into a bloated pig, i'd like them to try and make it a bit smaller when FF 3.0 comes out. wratterus (105)

lol well I know its MEANT to.

But on this, even after I reformatted (over the weekend just gone), it wont bring up the window asking if you want to save passwords.

It just logs me into whatever site.

I asked in a IE newsgroup. And did a few things some guy from MS said to do.

Still no go. Altho, it looks like I'm not the only one with this prob. In the newsgroup, people using Vista were having the same prob.

574014 2007-07-30 23:53:00 Or you could use this tool (tredosoft.com) and have multiple versions of IE installed, although i am not sure if it is vista compatible

The other solution is use Safari :D

Actually i quite like safari, but it seems to have a bad wrap
the stupid thing with Safari is the latest version runs on my 7 year old windows OS but won't run on my 4 year old mac OS, but thats a grumble for another time
