575067 2007-08-01 10:56:00 I am using Vista Ultimate Office 2007 and when I try to create a new Notebook Vista will not let me save to the default setting of C:\users\name\documents\onenote notebooks. If I change the save address it works fine. I am signed on with Admin privilages so why can't I use the default setting Dennis George (12615)
575068 2007-08-02 14:43:00 Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate & Microsoft Office 2007 are two different things, pedantically speaking. :p

What does the error message say when you try to save to the default settings?

Cheers :)

575069 2007-08-04 14:46:00 One Note cannot create a new notebook at: C:\users\Dennis\Documents\onenotes\
Possible reasons include
1) The specific location is not available.
2) You do not have permission to modify the specific location
3) The path or notebook contain invalid characters
4) The combined path and Notebook name exceeds the max length
Adjust name and path and try again

575070 2007-08-04 20:51:00 Is the folder "onenotes" there if you navigate into "C:\users\Dennis\Documents"?

Cheers :)
