574610 2007-07-31 19:20:00 DVD Shrink works fine to make one DVD but is there a way for it to make two DVDs without having to re-encode? When a second copy is started a pop up message says that there are already files in the DVD Shrink temporary folder ("should these be deleted now?"). Can the VOB and other files in that temporary folder be dragged into Nero to make another disk? I think I tried that a long time ago and it did not work. Morpheus1 (186)
574611 2007-07-31 20:12:00 What I always do is, rather than burn with Nero directly from DVD Shrink, is to write the DVD to a HDD folder instead.
Then you can use Nero to burn as many copies as you like and also use AutoGK or Handbrake or whatever and encode it to a smaller file size to keep on your machine if you want.

574612 2007-07-31 20:38:00 I use shrink and encode to HDD at highest quality. Then open the files with shrink and size it down to what I want and burn as many copies as I need from shrink, or Nero will also burn them. Once Shrink has burned to DVD once it does make a temp folder, these can also be opened and burned if you had deleted the originals but they will have been sized down to what ever you set the last encode/burn at. Then when I have 10 or so I do a burn session.

574614 2007-08-01 07:43:00 of course you mean for backing up your own personal home movies.....

Anyway the temp directory already contains what you want, if you have nero burning rom just choose DVD video and drag the contents of shrinks temporary directory into the video_ts folder and click burn.

Unless you delete it the last movie you ripped with shrink is always still available.

Otherwise the other suggestions will work too :)

574615 2007-08-01 10:18:00 Thanks to all. Nero works. When I tried it a year or two ago, there were problems but cannot recall what. Anyhow all is OK now.

Maybe someone has hacked/modified DVD Shrink so that it simply gives the option of burning more than one copy.?
