| 575040 | 2007-08-02 08:49:00 | First thing I did with my new Mac, which I bought because I couldn't stand having to upgrade to Vista , was see if I could get it to surf the net and I also, was surprised at how easy it was to set up. As I took a lot of trouble giving the 4 comp's on this network their own ip adresses , taking one off and replacing it with the Mac I felt sure would be a headache, but it wasn't. If you ask me how i'm finding the new system, its no better nor worse than XP, but it does run a whole lot faster for not having to drag all that security stuff around. |

| 575041 | 2007-08-02 09:17:00 | Good to hear that things are going well limepile and thanks for the update :cool: :thumbs: I think that OS user speed differences come from an individuals familiarity of a specific system and that you will discover more little tricks over time. This goes for all systems. |

Aside from outright OS speed, it is these little things that you have noticed that make the difference between the 2 systems. |
