574553 2007-08-01 16:23:00 I find that when these Firefox updates happen, some of the grafix on pages like this one, are all skewed or overlapping each other.

Right now, the smiley box is overwritten into the text box and they are spread across the screen, making it hard to read posts and stuff.

The last time this happened...and I blamed F1 for the problem but it wasn't youse guys, I just created a new Firefox profile and it all went right again.

Goto Start>>Run
Then type: firefox.exe -p
Hit ENTER KEY
If the window remains, then type in EXIT, and hit the ENTER KEY to close the screen.

If you have XP with SP-2, you might have to call up the c:\ prompt to get to the command box. First make sure you are running the CLASSIC STYLE Start Menu and NOT the "modern" XP desktop/screen.

To find that, hit the Windows Key, then hit P>> Accessories>>Command Prompt, and type in: firefox.exe-p
Hit the ENTER key, and if the screen remains, type in EXIT and hit the ENTER KEY again to close the box.

The reason to type EXIT is to close the file/command prompt correctly. In the old days, a file or command line that was left open was subject to corruption, so close the screen this way to remove any possibility of that happening.

<edit> It worked just fine..thought you'd like to know...all is good again.

...and at this moment, I am ignorant of the way to do this in Vista (or ME-Redux), but I think it's prolly the same anyway.

574554 2007-08-02 01:31:00 Javascript is running fine in FF 2.0.0.6 for me.

Java and JavaScript are different things :)

574558 2007-08-02 10:41:00 Try uninstalling 2.0.0.5 save the bookmarks, delete its folders, then reinstall 2.0.0.6.

Thats what I usually do.
