575157 2007-08-01 21:56:00 I had a movie in a folder named "XYZ" in My Docs, I then created a sub-folder in "My videos" and copied the contents of "XYZ" over - then deleted "XYZ" (as it was now empty)

Problem is, everytime I open WMP 11, it re-creates an empty "XYZ" in My Docs - bizarre, how do I stop this happening.

tks

575158 2007-08-01 22:07:00 Its most probably a folder WMP created when you installed it.

Which is why it comes back everytime u run WMP.

WMP did not create the folder, I did. I know it comes back with WMP (that is what I posted). I want to know how to stop it happening and if that involves learning 'why' then that is added value, but right now I just want to stop it.

575160 2007-08-01 22:26:00 Well did u point WMP (in one of its options) to this folder previously??

If u did, change it to the new folder u created.

575162 2007-08-01 22:39:00 Well dont worry about it then. Since youre not using it. Speedy Gonzales (78)
575163 2007-08-01 22:41:00 Problem fixed .... WMP had created a Rip folder with that name for some strange reason even tho I have never Ripped anything with WMP. Changing this setting in WMP fixed the problem.
