| 574745 | 2007-07-31 22:50:00 | I won this from here back in 2003. There used to be monthly prize draws, and I was a lucky winner. I no longer have use for this, but it is still a perfectly good product and would suit someone with little money who is in dire need of PC protection, yet wants everything in one package. I've decided since I got it for free, I should pass it on. I know there are several free alternatives out there, but if someone wants this then they can have it for the cost of postage. Please only someone who will actually use it and can't afford to buy. If I see it up on Trademe I will be very pissed off. If there are no takers it's going in the bin. Cheers |

| 574747 | 2007-08-01 00:47:00 | Amen. I'd use it as a drink coaster hear at work if you'd send it to me (I'd pay for postage of course) That would elict a lot of laughs :D I definitley wouldn't sell it, I wouldn't want to put anyone through the pain!! | wratterus (105) | ||

| 574749 | 2007-08-01 01:33:00 | Yes I know, but that's because the latest Norton offerings are rubbish. I've been a member here for seven years and back in 2002/2003, beleive it or not, but Norton Antivirus was the most recommended antivirus on this site. Ask oldtimers I recognise like tweak'e, Poppa John, Graham Lees, etc. I have no problem chucking it, but thought someone may want it. From the member formally known as Graham Petrie. | 574750 | 2007-08-01 01:47:00 | it was the most recommended AV because every single Dell and HP came with it pre loaded - because Norton paid HP and dell a stack of cash to put it on the New PC's - it wasn't the most recommended because it was actually any good good :annoyed: EDIT: i have used and worked with norton AV\norton internet security since its 2002 version - it was rubbish then and its still rubbish now - the only software ive seen ever that can cripple a P4 3.2ghz with 1.5gb ram by just sitting there in the task bar :O any chance you can send it back to Norton with a big fat "thanks but no thanks" note attached :P |
