| 575439 | 2007-08-02 05:13:00 | Today I recieved a nasty little email (like thousands of others on plan 3 no doubt) from iHug telling me... 'From September 3rd, 2007 you'll be able to do more online each day without being slowed down!' Wow! That's great news you'd think. But keep reading on, because in second paragraph they then say... 'Our new fair use policy also makes sure a few 'enthusiastic' people don't spoil things for everyone else by using unreasonable amounts of data - so if someone uses more than 20GB a month, their speed will be reduced to 64kbps for the rest of that month. (If you happen to be one of the few that use more than this each month, broadband 3 probably isn't the best plan for you - click here to check out our other plans with up to 60GB of data!)' What patronizing crap! So I shouldn't be disappointed that I'm capped to 20GB per month now? I chose this plan for exactly the benefit they are taking away! Who was the scumbag in marketing who came up with this email? Why don't they just say something like... 'More people than expected are using the full potential of plan 3 and we need to discourage them by charging them more' The moment my contract expires I know who I won't have as my ISP. |

| 575442 | 2007-08-02 06:08:00 | That's not the point pctek, I'll download whatever the hell I like thank you very much. I was forking-out $60.00 a month for 30GB, then they turned it into 'fair use' and now it's 20GB a month for the same amount. So iHug is making me pay more for less and pretending it's making my plan better? Following you logic maybe all plans should be limited to 1 or 2GB's a month and that would stop 'naughty' people like me. |

| 575443 | 2007-08-02 06:35:00 | My downloading days are over, I downloaded 64gb the month Go Large came to life and downgraded to Broadband Go because of school holiday started. I ended up not being able to get on Go Large after they scrapped the plan without telling public users in advanced. | msnforum (11610) | ||

Would you rather we didnt play high quality streams, watch the news, transfer backups and graphics jobs over ftp... because that's exactly what i do. As for music and movies, quality is a big deal to me so actual dvds and cds offer the best quality and surround sound. |
