| 575356 | 2007-08-02 00:21:00 | Hi Newbie to the site I have a Dell Latitude D820 and are trying to establish its video card graphics. By going into properties it shows under Display Adaptors the following -Mobile Intel (R) 945GM Express chipset family.(This is shown twice) I am wanting to run a visualisation 3D software called Viewbuild. It says minimum video card requirement 64mb and reccomended 512mb. How to I find out what the chipsets are capable in mb of for video graphics. Laptop has 2 CPU. Any help or suggestions would be great. |

| 575357 | 2007-08-02 00:41:00 | I found a few configurations for this model, the lowest is the Intel onboard chip at around 256mb shared, so you should be ok if you have at least 512mb on the computer itself. | DeSade (984) | ||

Laptop has 2 CPU. 512MB NVIDIA® Quadro NVS 120M TurboCacheTM * High end graphics solution specifically designed for graphically-demanding applications like 3D modeling and video-editing. 256MB NVIDIA® Quadro NVS 110M TurboCacheTM * Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 950 (Up to 224MB shared*) Bugger - the first one would have been better for your program. It doesn't have 2 CPUs, it has a dual core CPU. |
