575996 2007-08-05 22:15:00 I had no problems when installing the HD drivers for my Gigabyte board. Pretty sure I just installed the Realtek Function driver from the GB site and that was it, I had sound. It was a WinXP SP2 slipstreamed disc + only a couple of update patches.

Last I checked Realtek didn't even have my mobo's audio chip (889A) listed on their site.

HDMI Support: Off, On, Auto
HDMI Audio: Disabled (by default), On

South OnChip PCI Device

HD Audio Device: Enabled, Disabled
