575449 2007-08-03 00:10:00 Oh Boo Hoo Hoo!!

I want to pay the same amount $$$ wise as every other sucker on the same plan as me, but I want, no! I expect, to be able to download 100 times more data than them and I want super fast speed too..................

Get over it!

Welcome to the real world of user (abuser) pays :( :(

575450 2007-08-03 01:24:00 My ihug account is 10gb for $70/month has been for a long time. A couple of times i have gone over 10gb and the speed automatically drops for the rest of the month. I have probably had that same plan for a couple of years or more. The plan I have is not listed on their site so it must have changed..

i love the bit in their blurb:
Up to 7.6 Mbps download speed
Up to 800 kbps upload speed

Yea right.....
Last Result:
Download Speed: 1587 kbps (198.4 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 131 kbps (16.4 KB/sec transfer rate)

575451 2007-08-03 02:47:00 I just can't imagine majority of users outside the business sector having any legitimate need for 20+ gig a month.

heres one of my recent speedtest results. (TelstraClear Cable)

ihug AKA vodafone, what else do you expectfrom a british owned company. Switch to a NZ owned company.

It was a brand new NZ owned company when i joined it in late 1995. I was with ICONZ, (also a newish NZ company at that time) from early 1994 prior to moving to Ihug.

575454 2007-08-03 04:27:00 Last speed test I did with Xnet I got 7mpbs down (7430 to be exact) and 380 up. And that's on their FS/FS plan.

Switch to Xnet now! It's cheaper, faster and has less probs than any other ISP ive been with.
